Scorpion King was a project for a person who was wanting to start a social media personality know as "Scorpion King". The bit was to do a fake cooking show with scorpions since Scorpion King is located in Arizona. No scorpions were actually going to be consumed. The objective was to make the logo look like a metal logo. The first version was clean and kept very symmetrical. The client liked it but was not sold. They were expecting something more hand drawn and a little crude. After the client sent some reference ideas the solution came more clear. The answer a logo that looks like a smashed scorpion.
